Gifted Too, Incorporated (GTI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, national organization that has recognized the tremendous need for today’s youth to not only become equipped to handle the ever-growing educational demands and challenges that await their generation, but also grasp the benefits and advantages of being physically fit while facing those challenges. GTI is a conglomeration of various individually owned and operated martial arts, amateur boxing, and other youth athletic training facilities with one common cause: to give dedicated students who need tuition assistance the opportunity to train. Formerly instituted in March 2010, GTI was formulated as a result of the Fundamentals of Martial Arts Scholarship Program (FMASP), one of GTI’s main subsidiaries, which was launched earlier in 2009. GTI encompasses a number of subsidiaries, programs, projects, and collaborated efforts centered around helping children and youth to achieve higher heights in the areas of physical fitness, educational enhancement, and character development. We believe that each child, no matter what their background or surroundings are, has the ability and gifts to reach any constructive goal he or she puts consistent, focused effort into. We’ve heard the frightening statistics and reports concerning many youth in America:
With GTI programs, the focus placed on health, physical fitness, character, and academic advancements allows us to assist in changing the lives of many students who would otherwise be moving in less productive directions. Through sponsor donations, gifts, grants, organizational fundraisers, and nationwide fundraisers, every year GTI vigorously sets out to seek, pursue, and provide financial assistance for dedicated students throughout the United States in an effort to assist as many as possible in reaching their highest potential. GTI also works in conjunction with martial arts schools, gyms, and other sports training facilities to establish after school academic programs, nutrition education programs, and various other projects that are in the making. As our services are requested more and more in various communities, job opportunities for adults and teenagers are also on the horizon. Each time an establishment or individual student participates in a GTI program or event, he or she receives priority enrollment privileges when applying for our tuition assistance programs, post-secondary educational scholarships (college or trade school), and more! We also offer a means of getting GTI services in some communities faster than others through our Bonanza Incentives™ . When establishments and individual students participate in our free programs or get involved in volunteering, we know that the people in those communities are more interested in receiving our assistance faster than others who are not participating. There are endless possibilities for Gifted Too, Incorporated to pursue as we cater to the needs of youth in many appreciative households in a variety of communities. Each day, we set out to encourage students to pursue their goals and dreams to the utmost as we do our part to provide opportunities in communities that need our help! 1Center for Disease Control and Prevention; www.cdc.gov/obesity/childhood/index.html 2Editorial Projects in Education, Diplomas Count 2010: Graduation by the Numbers: Putting Data to Work for Student Success, Education Week, (June 10,2010); Click here forGTI Board of Directors and Committee MembersCurrent Subsidiaries of GTI:
